CREAMY CHICKEN ALFREDO

INGREDIENTS
For the Chicken:
– 2 chicken breasts, sliced or pounded thin
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp Italian seasoning
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp pepper
For the Alfredo Sauce:
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
– 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp pepper
For the Pasta:
– 12 oz fettuccine or linguine
– Fresh parsley for garnish
DIRECTIONS
1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
2. Season chicken with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic 1 minute.
5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes.
6. Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
7. Add pasta to sauce, tossing to coat (use reserved pasta water if needed).
8. Top with sliced chicken and parsley. Serve warm.
