Classic Meatloaf
Ingredients
• 2 lbs ground beef
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• 1 small onion, finely diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/3 cup ketchup
• 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp paprika
• Glaze: 1/2 cup ketchup + 2 tbsp brown sugar + 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment or lightly grease.
2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
3. Mix until just combined—do not overmix.
4. Transfer meat mixture into the loaf pan and shape evenly.
5. Stir together glaze ingredients and spread half over the top.
6. Bake for 45 minutes, add remaining glaze, and bake another 15–20 minutes.
7. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
