    By Biteful Kitchen

A moist, tender, and golden loaf with a rich banana flavor — this classic banana bread is perfect for breakfast, snacking, or gifting. Simple ingredients, one bowl, and consistently delicious results.

    Quick Facts

    • Prep Time: 10 minutes

    • Cook Time: 55 minutes

    • Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes

    • Servings: 10 slices

    Ingredients

    Dry Ingredients:

    • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

    • 1 teaspoon baking soda

    • ½ teaspoon salt

    Wet Ingredients:

    • 3 large ripe bananas, mashed

    • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

    • ¾ cup brown sugar

    • 2 large eggs, beaten

    • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

    Optional Add-Ins:

    • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

    • ½ cup chocolate chips

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

    2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

    3. In another bowl, mash bananas and mix in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

    4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined — do not overmix.

    5. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips, if using. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

    6. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

    Chef’s Tips

    • Use very ripe bananas — dark spots mean more sweetness and moisture.

    • Add a teaspoon of cinnamon for extra warmth.

    • Banana bread freezes beautifully — slice and wrap individually for grab-and-go breakfasts.
